Texas Country up-and-comer, and Lindale native, Chris Colston, has been making huge waves in the Red Dirt music scene after the release of his 2018 EP Gone.

Back in December, Colston released an acoustic song  called “Drive,” the all too relatable story of a guy loving a girl that’s miles away. The sound of this song is a bit different from the hard-charging instrumentation that fans heard on his popular release “Gone,” but demonstrates his versatility as an artist.

And he's just gettin' going.

Originally written by Oklahoma native Ben McKenzie, “Drive” is a slower, more intimate song than much of Colston’s previous collection. Colston told us that he fell in love with the tune and wanted to give his fans something new before the holidays with a song that really hits home in the perfect time of year.
